Successful completion of first round E-LOFA

The first round of the E-LOFA basic module ran from December 1, 2025, through March 6, 2026. The basic module consists of ten components and is based on the updated LOFA training materials. This course is given in Dutch.

The conversion of these training materials into an online version is part of the Country Package Theme A – Financial Management and was funded by the Dutch Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations, with the aim of strengthening the financial column within the Government of Aruba.

A total of 68 participants completed the basic module and received their certificates. The module is intended for everyone involved in the financial function of the Government of Aruba and is also highly suitable for onboarding of new employees in a financial role.

The Department of Finance has already begun preparations for the second round of the basic module and a first round of the advanced module Legal Framework. By digitalizing the LOFA training materials and offering the program through a digital platform, the various modules can be offered on a regular basis. This enables government employees to follow the program at their own pace and to step-by-step further deepen their knowledge of public finance.
